The Wonderful Faces of My Friends!

I had a good nights sleep and want to hear about Rocky.

Well I’m up and I feel rested. It's 6:30 in the morning and I have had enough sleep and I am ready to go.

Like I told you last night I want to find out some more about Rocky so I asked my new Mommy and Daddy this morning.

Here is what they told me.

Rocky came into their lives almost 12 years ago as a little black pug puppy just like me. In fact they say that I remind them of Rocky. They told me that he was a very good little doggie and that he loved to play with his stuffed animals especially his little bunny. Rocky loved to go for walks and play tug of war and most of all he loved to eat.

Rocky loved to go to restaurants where he could be with his mommy and daddy and sit under the table and get special treats. They told me that Rocky was a happy doggie and he always would make you smile and he loved to give doggie kisses. (I don’t know what doggie kisses are yet) I could tell by the way they told me about Rocky that they loved him very much and would always miss him.

I started to get scared and thought that I would never be able to live up to such a wonderful perfect doggie as Rocky. That’s when my Daddy told me that I had my own perfect little puppy personality and that I should grow up and be exactly the doggie that I want to be and that he and my Mommy would love me with all of their hearts just like they loved Rocky. Well that sure made me feel better. I asked my Daddy if he would show me some pictures of Rocky and he did. I put them here to show you.

Rocky being pushed in his stroller Carmel, July 2007.
When he got tired walking he would ride in his Jeep stroller.
Everyone smiled when they saw him coming.

Brunch at the Lodge at Pebble Beach on the patio
overlooking the 18th green.

Rocky and his friend Luca walking the boardwalk
at the Inn on Spanish Bay with their mommies.
It's where they met Prime Minister Tony Blair and Bono.

I think it's about time I go find something to chew on
and then take a little nappy.

Wow this Italian Porcelain Tile feels good on
my tummy!

Bye

If you're looking for something tasty to chew on I'd recommend leather shoes and TV remote controls. Those were my favorite chew targets as a pup.

Or underwear - you have to steal that and take it outside though - the parents really frown on chewing socks and underwear for some reason.

Hi Maximus! You're so little! I'm a Boxer like your buddy Cairo, but I'm a little different...I'm white. Black pugs are not that common so we should "get" each other.

That was a nice tribute to Rocky...you have some big shoes to fill. Chewing on shoes? Hmmm, not recommended. The folks get real mad at that. Tell 'em to get you a Kong & lots of Bully Sticks!
